A little about me

I'm a picky eater trying to broaden my culinary horizons. I also dabble in quilting, knitting, and embroidery. I experiment with candle making as well but not quite as often as I'd like.

I've been quilting for a few years now, although I think in quilting terms that's not very long. I've made a few large quilts and 2 lap size ones. I hope to start designing my own quilts very soon.

I've also been knitting for a few years now. I experiment (there's that word again) with different stitches to see what I can come up with. Sometimes it's terrible, and sometimes it's not.

Lastly, I've just begun to learn how to embroider. Thus far I absolutely love it. For some reason, I find it relaxing and able to keep my interest. There's so much variety as well. I'm just having fun learning all there is to embroidery.

This blog is basically my adventures and misadventures in all the things I love to do. You may laugh or raise an eyebrow, but I hope you enjoy reading it.
